In this issue of Community Update, we are pleased to award PNP Events’ THE POLAR EXPRESS™ Train Ride for its Commitment to Excellence.
Since 2019 PNP Events has been immersing guests in the magical story of The Polar Express at its Wensleydale location, with the addition of South Devon Railway, Spa Valley Railway, Cholsey and Wallingford Railway in 2021 and Edinburgh Waverley in 2023. This year the company will be returning with events in Wensleydale, South Devon and Spa Valley; and, for its second year in London Euston.
PNP Events’ meticulously designed train ride brings to life the magic of The Polar Express, complete with dazzling lights and heart-warming scenes. Each year thousands of guests each year board the train and embark on a thrilling journey with all the beloved film’s well-known characters.
From the moment guests arrive the magic of The Polar Express takes hold. As guests board the train, PNP’s dedicated team recreates the enchanting atmosphere from the movie, ensuring an immersive and unforgettable theatrical experience.
Guests can meet the conductor who will clip their special golden tickets, the mysterious hobo who will question their true belief in Christmas, the dancing chefs who will serve their world-famous hot chocolate and Santa himself who delivers the very special first gift of Christmas.
PNP Events prides itself on some of the best storytelling and Christmas theatrical performance in the UK. With the help of West End Associate Director Pip Minnithorpe, PNP have brought new energy and polish to the performance this year.
The direction, pacing, and choreography have all been refined to capture the grandeur of live theatre, blending professional stagecraft with the intimacy of an on-board performance. Combined with new special effects and richer storytelling, the experience now feels more immersive and cinematic than ever before.
