Experience the Thrill of Precision: A Day Out at Bisley Shooting Ground

In this issue of Community Update we are pleased to honour Bisley at Braidwood with our Commitment to Excellence Award.

Looking for an action-packed day out? Look no further than Bisley Shooting Ground! Available at two locations: Bisley long-Siberia in the beautiful Surrey countryside or Bisley at Braidwood on the Scottish Borders. Whether you’re a seasoned sharpshooter or a complete beginner, their expert instructors will have you hitting targets in no time.

“The Bisley at Braidwood ground is very fortunate to have many of Scotland’s top shots living and working in the area. It has been very encouraging to see the uplisting effect they have on the young as the skills go from one generation to another and new friendships are born. Ladies Day and Young Shots are also popular days.

We are keen to spread the word to the young and those who have never been introduced to clay shooting. In rural areas like ours, they are the future of shooting and it is very pleasing to see the reward they get from exceeding their own expectations,” stated Dani Cummings, Reception & Marketing at Bisley Braidwood.

Bisley at Braidwood is regarded as the best Pay and Play Shooting Grounds in both England and Scotland and holds remarkable respect from all newcomers and seasoned shooters.

Bisley Shooting Ground provides all the gear you need, along with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. This family-run business was created over 25 years ago and is perfect for family outings, corporate events, or a fun day with friends.

“We do corporate, charity fundraising events and bespoke packages that include one or all of the clay shooting, air-rifle, and full-bore rifle range activities. All the equipment and safety elements are provided and we also have a membership option for those who are regular users. On the fully automated clay shooting system, the club gives shooters discounts on cartridges and clays.

The Braidwood location was completely rebuilt and added 12 years ago with additional shooting facilities. It offers shooting lessons from Tuesday to Sunday for all skill levels in various disciplines: Shotgun Clay Pigeon Shooting, 30-Metre Air-Rifle Range with Pop-Up Targets, and Scotland’s Only 100-Metre Underground Full-Bore Rifle Range featuring a military precision electronic target system.

Its kitchen and dining areas can comfortably accommodate up to 80 guests, ensuring a complete and memorable experience.
