We are delighted to select Still Rabbit Lodges for our Commitment to Excellence Award.
Steeped in the natural beauty of Yellowtop Country Park, at the foot of the Yorkshire Wolds, is a well-kept secret retreat: Still Rabbit Lodges. Discover the seven-luxury lodges, decorated from floor to ceiling in eye-catching quirky furnishings, with private hot tubs, under a night sky canvas. The lodges are so popular that couples have written glowing five-star Tripadvisor reviews, with many returning year-on-year for quiet romantic escapes,
“We have visited this place almost every year since as an anniversary present to ourselves and stayed in many of the different lodges. We know what to expect – an amazing relaxing time in tranquil beautiful luxurious surroundings. It’s become a home from home for us and definitely our own little retreat away from the hustle and bustle.”
The lodges are adult-only and with no pets allowed, you will be assured of maximum privacy throughout your stay. Couples can book a minimum of two night’s stay throughout the year, with last-minute one night’s stay advertised on the Facebook Page. The master bedroom has a Super King Size Bed, with stunning sunset views over the park. With a fully-equipped tall kitchen, couples can try out signature romantic dishes or take advantage of a supermarket delivery or local take-out.
“We offer a romantic cocoon, where memories are made. Our pine-cladded lodges are ready to welcome you for an unforgettable escape. We have created a wildlife haven on-site and even have fresh eggs available for your cooked breakfast feast. There is a bridal path nearby, for a lovely country walk to the Red Lion pub for a homecooked meal, with nearby market towns like Pocklington and historic York perfect for day trips.
We want to make your stay perfect in every way possible and offer couple massage bookings, or champagne and chocolate for added extra touches.
Still Rabbit Lodges are nestled close to Froggathorpe, Selby, in East Riding of Yorkshire and are primarily designed for couples, with one lodge (Argente) suitable for two couples. Our lodges are all named after rabbit breeds and if you’re lucky, you’ll spot a few wild rabbits in the grounds,” explained owner Diane Simpson.
Still Rabbit Lodges was a finalist in the Reyta 2023 Awards (Remarkable Self-Catering Accommodation of the Year category) and plans to be self-sufficient by February 2024 with a new solar farm installation.
