A Perfect Day Out at Stratford Racecourse

In this issue of Community Update, we are pleased to award Stratford Racecourse for its Commitment to Excellence.

A day at Stratford Racecourse is all about enjoying great racing in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. Bring along a picnic and settle in on the centre course, or treat yourself to the hospitality options especially the Gallery Restaurant, where you can enjoy a beautifully prepared four-course meal while taking in panoramic views of the racecourse. Packages are available for tables of 2 – 10 guests at £135 pp (including VAT), with main enclosure admission and your own reserved table included.

Set just outside the town and right by the River Avon, the location adds to the charm and makes it easy to get to however you’re travelling. Wendy Rollason – Marketing & Corporate Sales says:

“There’s a real sense of community here, whether you’re a seasoned racegoer or visiting for the first time, you’re made to feel welcome. The picturesque surroundings also play a big part. Being set in the heart of Warwickshire, it combines the excitement of jump racing with beautiful countryside views, creating a day out that feels both special and easy to enjoy.”

Saturday 30th May is the evening of National Hunt racing. After the racing, listen to the country band Boss & The Hogs, featuring the music of Luke Combs, Lainey Wilson, Keith Urban, Dolly, Zac Brown Band and many, many more.

On Sunday, 19th July we have Ladies Day! A day filled with dramatic jump racing whilst celebrating elegance, excitement, and English tradition.

Wendy comments on winning the award:

“As a very small team, it’s a real recognition of the hard work, care, and attention to detail that goes into every raceday and event. For us, it’s not just about the award itself, it reflects our commitment to making every visitor’s experience memorable from start to finish. Whether someone is attending their first race or returning as a regular, we want them to feel welcomed, looked after, and part of something special.

This recognition reinforces that visitors can expect high standards across the board, from the quality of the facilities and hospitality to the friendliness of our team and the overall atmosphere. Ultimately, it means guests can come to the racecourse with confidence, knowing they’ll enjoy a well-organised, enjoyable, and high-quality day out.”
