Adventure like a pro with Outdoor Pursuits Scotland

At Community Update, we take pride in showcasing the very best services provided by companies that provide a wealth of benefits for their community. As such, in this issue we are proud to announce that we have selected Outdoor Pursuits Scotland as the recipient of our Commitment to Excellence Award.

“We take our job very personally! All our staff are passionate about Scotland and its natural playground and it’s a pleasure to share that with others,” stated Phil Robinson, Manager.

Located on Canal Bank St, Glasgow, Outdoor Pursuits Scotland offers fun, safe and professional bespoke activities where you can learn new skills, enjoy the great outdoors and ultimately, have fun!

Whether you’re an active individual or an outdoor enthusiast, Scotland is without a doubt one of the best destinations with its natural outdoor playground that plays home to any adventure you or your group of friends require.

Outdoor Pursuits Scotland is also a great alternative way to celebrate hen and stag parties, utilise team bonding for corporate companies, or even for charity events. All clients can immerse themselves in activities like white water rafting, river tubing, river boogieboarding, paddlesports, funyaking, or canyoning & gorge walking. “Rafting is one of our most popular activities. It’s a great activity for all abilities and caters to large group numbers,” said Phil.

If you enjoy swimming, sliding, scrambling down rocks and jumping from pool to pool then the Devils Pulpit Canyon trip is the ideal activity for you. Just North of Glasgow, you’ll be joined by qualified instructors on a 3-hour journey following a steep river course generally downstream and sometimes using ropes.

Outdoor Pursuits Scotland have 20 years’ experience in delivering outdoor training courses and qualifications all over the world. “We run six-day Raft Guide courses which are zero to hero, Water Safety courses for people who work in and around water like surveyors, and First Aid courses that can be delivered at all sorts of levels depending on what is needed,” added Phil. Some other courses include Mountain Training, Raft Guide Development, Rescue 3, and Navigation courses.

If you have someone in mind who would love to experience some of these activities, Gift Vouchers are available to purchase via the website.
