In this issue of Community Update, we are pleased to feature Suffolk Carpet Weavers as the recipient of our Commitment to Excellence Award.
Owned by John Masters, Suffolk Carpet Weavers is a small independent flooring business that sells and fits all types of carpets, vinyl’s, luxury vinyl tiles (LVT), and artificial grass. Alongside Co-Director and son Paul, the business is run from Martlesham in Suffolk where it has been for the last 14 years.
Trading as Suffolk Carpet Weavers since 1988, the business was founded by now retired Henry Wilden, and John. Over the years, the company has grown in size, starting out in a small premises in Ipswich before then moving to a larger premises at Witnesham.
It was not long after this move when the company purchased their own looms, to begin manufacturing their own carpets. Two moves later, and the company is now settled at Unit 5, Bridge Business Park, Top Street, Old Martlesham, Suffolk, where it has recently refurbished the entire premises complete with a new colour scheme and rebranding.
Now in its 37th year, the company serves customers across Suffolk, South Norfolk, and North Essex areas. Stocking the most recent colours, textures and styles as well as the more traditional styles, their range includes: wool and synthetic carpets to suit all tastes and budgets, as well as LVTs (Luxury Vinyl Flooring) such as Project Floors and Moduleo.
The company’s flooring services include two options: Contract and Safety.
