This is Cley Windmill an exclusive, Norfolk intimate wedding venue set in a 19th century windmill overlooking an area of outstanding beauty: The Cley and Salthouse Marshes. Owners Natalie and Varian Bush are delighted to welcome you to a wedding venue that you will treasure for eternity.
The multi-award-winning windmill is an iconic five-story tower bill nestled next to the river Glaven in the picturesque village of Cley-next-the-sea. Couples can hire the stunning venue at weekends and mid-week for one or two nights for small, intimate wedding ceremonies and receptions.
The fully-licenced dining room can cater up to 26 guests and the outdoor marquee can fit 50 wedding guests. The windmill can sleep up to 22 wedding guests with rooms going round the ground floor all the way to the top of the tower. A further delightful four bed and breakfast rooms are available in the historic courtyard.
Wedding couples and guests are able to hire any outside caterers they wish or can choose from any of the locally recommended by Cley Windmill. The Ceremony People can provide celebrants to oversee the personalised wedding ceremony with bespoke readings and poems.
Cley Windmill has been showered with awards including The Editor’s Quirky Choice Award by The Good Hotel Guide 2020. Owners Natalie and Varian have hosted 200 weddings since 2019 and with 80 weddings a year, are more than happy to recommend local wedding photographers, cake suppliers and florists to make your wedding day special and unique.
