Emma Boubaker was born with Norfolk fine dining in her bones. Emma grafted her way from commis chef to head chef. It was during her time as head chef at the Cley Windmill Kitchen that Emma decided to go solo
“Bayfield Catering was established in 2013 whilst working alongside my full-time head chef’s job at the time for Cley Windmill, who are an established wedding venue on the north Norfolk coast. I was inspired to work for myself.”
Emma runs the business with her family and friends catering for bespoke buffets, parties, special events and weddings all year round. During the autumn months Emma is busy feeding local pheasant game shooting parties with a mouth-watering menu including sticky honey and sesame sausages. The summer months are focussed on wedding celebrations and celebratory menu options include seasonal fish/crab and stuffed and baked field mushrooms. Norfolk is famous for its bountiful coastal fish and shellfish and Emma uses locally sourced crustaceans to make sumptuous crab and fennel fishcakes for her finger buffets.
Bayfield Catering is now firmly established on the Norfolk wedding catering circuit and has won many coveted awards as a delighted Emma explains
“This year I have been so lucky to win awards from SME News UK Enterprise Awards 2022, The UK Enterprise Award for Best Wedding catering Company and an Es Media Award. As a company we strive and aim to provide a professional service from front of house to kitchen. We work closely with our clients from start to finish planning and oversee all aspects of a wedding or an event. We pride ourselves on great food service and care and attention to detail for our clients.”
