In this issue of Community Update, we are proud to announce that we have selected STYLE SOLUTIONS By Sarah as our Fashion Service Provider of the Year.
After training to become a personal stylist with the Nicky Hambleton Jones Style Academy in October 2020, Sarah Sullivan decided to start her own business – STYLE SOLUTIONS By Sarah.
Based in Winchester, Hampshire, Sarah’s main role is to help people to feel more confident in their clothes and their style. “My strapline is ‘dress up, show up, be confident’. I offer wardrobe edits where I can help people declutter and get a wardrobe that works well for their lifestyle. Often people have lots of clothes but don’t know how to combine them or put outfits together so we spend some time restyling clothes they have. I also offer a body shape analysis and advice on the best styles and shapes for them. In addition, I offer personal shopping to take the stress out of shopping for a special occasion or to update your wardrobe,” said Sarah.
Do you find yourself always short on time when planning an outfit for an event? A simple trip to the shops for a new outfit is something Sarah can help with. She commented, “I am local to Winchester and we have so many gorgeous local boutiques in the area, I feel my local knowledge is useful particularly for personal shopping.” Of course what is the perfect outfit without glamourous make-up. Sarah also has connections with other industry professionals who she works with, “I work with Lisa Virgo a make-up artist in the New Forest and we really enjoy running style and make up evenings together for ladies where they can pick up tips and tricks for make-up and clothes,” added Sarah
Recently, Sarah has added another arm to the business where she is now an independent stylist for US clothing brand, CABI. “The business is fairly new to the UK, and I am running fashion and fizz parties so ladies can have a boutique shopping experience in their home virtually or in person or book a 1-1 session with me to look at the clothes,” stated Sarah.
Sarah is well-known for supporting other local businesses such as Brims Yoga and Redress preloved boutique who she films regular styling videos for Instagram with, and it’s her genuine willingness to help that keeps her services in high demand. “I am in the industry because I want to help people feel their best. Investing in yourself is really important and if you take the time to sort out your style and wardrobe it can save you so much time and money,” said Sarah.
