This is why we are delighted to present The Barbridge Inn with our coveted Commitment to Excellence Award. This has been awarded to the restaurant for their delicious menu and hospitality.

The restaurant is located alongside the picturesque Shropshire Union Canal, in Nantwich, a short walk away from the Barbridge Marina. The restaurant prides itself on its locally sourced, fresh food, producing classic British dishes with a contemporary twist. Upon entry, guests are greeted with a warm and friendly atmosphere which is enhanced by the restaurants’ beautiful interior and welcoming staff.

The restaurant boasts a fully stocked bar with a canal-side garden, ideal for a drink on a warm summer’s afternoon. To entertain the children, the garden has a fun play area equipped with a climbable rope wall, slide and fireman’s pole. In the bar, guests can purchase a selection of local Weetwood Ales, which has been crafted since 1992 and uses the best ingredients. There are also a number of delicious guest ales available during busy peak periods.

The restaurant is co-owned by James Perrins & Allister Boote, who have used their experience in the industry to ensure that guests are provided with delicious dishes that range from a la carte to pub classics. The team are committed to offering their clients everything they desire to ensure that each guest is provided with a mouth-watering dish that caters to all ages.

In a recent interview with James, James told us about the restaurant’s fantastic Sunday Roast Experience, which allows guests to enjoy their Sunday roast as if they were in their own home, carving the meat themselves. Such a unique approach to dining is revolutionary in the industry, and has garnered much praise from guests and industry peers.

James also told us about the restaurant’s delicious Christmas Menu, which includes pan fried duck breast, beef wellington, salmon en croute, roasted turkey breast and a nut roast served with vegan gravy. For dessert, the restaurant offers a festive Christmas pudding with brandy butter and rum sauce, sherry trifle, black forest gateaux and a selection of cheeses.
